The Mission of the CIDRZ Foundation
The single greatest impediment to effective preventive health care initiatives in the developing world is the inadequacy of infrastructure and the inability of NGOs to address these inadequacies. However, at the CIDRZ Foundation – with the generous and courageous assistance of our donor partners – we are both building the necessary infrastructure and managing the programmatic initiatives.
Our current priority is to establish in Zambia a Center of Excellence for Women and Children’s Health – the first in Africa – where prevention, treatment, research and training focus on sustainable solutions for the health of women and children. See “What We Are Doing” above for more information.

“ If you want to see hope in the midst of despair, look to Dr. Jeff Stringer and his colleagues at CIDRZ. By any measure, they are global heroes. „
